How to Hear English Everywhere
Two simple definitions
to hear: to receive sound with the ears
to listen: to try to hear
تعريفين بسيطين، الاستماع والانصات
You are very good at (L anguage)s. That's obvious, because you already speak one (L anguage) very well - your own! And if you can learn and speak one (L anguage) well, then you can certainly learn and speak one or more other (L anguage)s
انت جيد جدا باللغات؟! هذا واضح لانك بالاساس تتقن على الاقل لغة واحدة، وهي لغتك.
لذلك، اذا كنت تستطيع تعلم لغة واحدة وتتحدثها، فبالتأكيد بإستطاعتك تعلم لغة او لغات اخرى جديدة.
But did you ever ask yourself: "How did I learn my own (L anguage)?" In fact, you never really "learned" it at all - you just started speaking it. One day, when you were about two or three years old, you started speaking your (L angauge). A few words at first, not full sentences. But you spoke. And very soon you made progress without even thinking about it. It was like magic!
ولكن، هل سألت نفسك "كيف تعلمت لغتي التي اتقنها واتحدث بها؟"
في الحقيقة انت لم تتعلمها ابدا، لكنت بدأت بالتحدث بها.
يوما ما، عندما كنت بالثانية او الثالثة من عمرك، بدأت بالتحدث بلغتك.. بالبداية كانت كلمات قليلة وليست جملا كاملة.. ولكنك تحدثت.
وسريعا جدا، تطورت وتقدمت بالتحدث واصبحت تتقنها،،
هل كان هذا سحرا؟
But it wasn't magic. It was the result of hearing. For two to three years before you spoke, you heard people speaking your (L anguage) all day, and maybe all night. You heard people speaking your (L anguage). Maybe you listened to people, but more importantly you heard. them. Then, as if by magic, you started to speak. All that hearing was necessary for you to start speaking. For two to three years words went IN to your head. Then words came OUT of your head! That is why hearing (and listening to) English as much as possible is so important to you now. The more English you put in, the more you'll get out!
طبعا لا، لم يكن سحرا،،
بل هو نتيجة الاستماع والانصات..
فلمدة سنتان الى ثلاث قبل ان تتحدث كنت يوميا وبشكل مستمر تستمع الى أناس يتحدثون بنفس لغتك.. من الممكن انك انصت للمتحدثين ولكن الاهم انك استمعت جيدا من خلال الاذن..
فمدة الثلاث سنوات تقريبا كنت تُدخل الكلمات الى رأسك وتستقبلها.ز ثم بعد تلك المدة بدأت بإخراجها من رأسك ..
لذا، الاستماع اوالانصات الى اللغة الانجليزية مهم جدا لكي تتعلمها..
كلما اكثرت من ادخال الكلمات استطعت بالمقابل اخراج الكثير منها عبر التحدث.
So how can you hear a lot of English when you're not in an English-speaking country or family? Fortunately, there are many ways of hearing English in almost all countries of the world.
لذا، كيف تستطيع الاستماع الى اللغة الانجليزية وانت في بلدة لغتها ليست الانجليزية؟
لحسن الحظ هناك عدة طرق للاستماع..
مثل الراديو والتلفزيون وعن طريق الانترنت والافلام والاصدقاء.
Radio
You can receive English (L anguage) radio in most countries. Two of the best international networks are the BBC World Service and Voice of America. Both of them have special programmes for learners of English
توجد بأغلب البلدان محطات متخصصة فقط باللغة الانجليزية وبالامكان الاستفادة منهم،، ومن اشهر تلك المحطات هي الاذاعة البريطانية بي بي سي وصوت امريكا، وبكلا المحطتين هناك بعض الدروس لتعّلم اللغة الانجليزية.
Television
TV is an excellent resource for hearing and listening to English. The pictures help you understand what is being said
التلفزيون مصدر ممتاز ومهم بالنسبة للاستماع، فالصور التي تراها عبر الشاشه تساعدك اكثر لفهم اللغة عند الاستماع.
Friends
Try to make friends with English-speaking people so that you can practise your English through conversation. Of course, this will practise your speaking as well as your listening. And if you don't have a lot of time to go out and meet people, at least you can chat a little by telephone
حاول كسب اصدقاء لغتهم الام الانجليزية ومن خلالهم تكون المحادثات .. فمنها تضرب عصفورين بحجر حيث تستفيد من خلالهم مهارتين، هما الاستماع والتحدث.
Finally, don't worry if you don't understand everything you hear. Hearing comes first! Understanding comes next
وأخيرا، لا تقلق اذا لم تفهم جميع ماتستمع اليه. فالاستماع يأتي أولا ومن ثم الفهم.
