عليك الاحتفاظ بحبوب البن في مطبخك، حتى وإن كنت لا تحب شرب القهوة ، ذلك أن حبوب البن ومخلفات القهوة لها العديد من الفوائد في أغراض يومية مختلفة.

أولاً: الأغراض المنزلية

يمكن استخدام حبوب القهوة للتنظيف، لكن قبل البدء في ذلك يجب الانتباه إلى عدم استخدامها في تنظيف الأشياء ذات الطبيعة الماصة أو المسامية، تجنباً للحصول على بقع بنية، ويمكن استخدامها في:


1) تنظيف المقالي والقدور.


2) تنظيف الأحواض (غير الخزفية).


3) إزالة بقايا الطعام العالقة بالأطباق.


4) تنظيف الشوايات.

ثانياً: استخدام حبوب القهوة في الحديقة


1) يمكن استخدامها كسماد غير سام، حيث إنها تعد مصدراً جيداً لكل من النيتروجين، الكالسيوم، البوتاسيوم والمعادن الأخرى، مع الانتباه إلى أن العديد من النباتات لا تقبل حبوب القهوة.


2) يمكن إضافتها كمغذيات إضافية للسماد.


3) يمكن استخدامها كطارد طبيعي للحشرات، حيث إن رائحتها تنفرها.


4) تساعد على منع القطط من حفر وإفساد حديقتك.


5) تستخدم لتغذية النباتات المحبة للحمض مثل الزهور والـ (Azaleas).


من جهة أخرى يوجد بالحديقة نوع من الديدان التي تتكاثر سريعاً وتتغذى على حبوب القهوة والتي تقضي على البكتريا ما يساعد على مد التربة بالأكسجين.


لذا يجب عليك اتباع الآتي :


1) ضع حبوب القهوة داخل التربة.


2) اخلط الحبوب داخل السماد.


3) اخلط الحبوب بالتربة للحفاظ على الديدان حية مدة أطول.


ثالثاً: استخدام حبوب القهوة للتجميل


1) فرك الشعر بالحبوب ثم شطفه للحصول على شعر لامع وناعم.


2) يمكن استخدامها لصبغ الشعر باللون البني.


3) يمكن استخدامها كـ"ماسك" لبشرة الوجه .
